The scholars of the Saad faction of Tablighi Jamaat have alleged that a specific group is trying to destabilize the country in connection with the World Ijtema.

On Wednesday, November 6th, at a press conference organized by "Dawaat and Tabligh Ulama and General Associates" at the National Press Club, pro-Sad (a theological group) scholars made certain allegations. The written statement was read by Azim Uddin, the Imam of Kakrail Mosque.


The pro-Sad group mentioned that during a gathering at Suhrawardy Udyan on November 5th, many false and misleading statements were presented. They further noted that the spokesperson for Darul Uloom Deoband has already stated that both factions of Tabligh are acceptable to them.

During this time, it has been demanded that Maulana Saad Kandhalvi, the Global Amir of the Tabligh Jamaat, must be present at the World Ijtema.

In the first phase, the pro-Sad group scholars expressed hope for the observance of the World Ijtema.
