The importance of saying "Insha'Allah" before any task.
In the future, in any work-related matter, we generally say that we will do the work. However, instead of just saying we will do it or see it, we should say, "Insha'Allah, we will do it or see it." This expresses trust and reliance on Allah. And Allah makes the task easier. The phrase "Insha'Allah" has been taught by Allah Himself to the Messenger (peace be upon him). There is a well-known incident regarding this. Once, the Jews asked the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) three questions: What is the essence of the soul? Who were the inhabitants of the cave? And who was Dhul-Qarnayn? In response to their inquiry, the Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "I will answer you tomorrow." However, for the next 15 days, Gabriel (peace be upon him) did not bring any revelation. Then, when he did come, Allah commanded him to say "Insha'Allah." This means that when one intends to do something in the near or distant future, they should always say "Insha'Allah." This is because a person does not know whether they will receive the ability to carry out their intention, as that depends on Allah's will. It is mentioned in the Holy Quran— "And do not say about anything, 'Indeed, I will do that tomorrow,' except when adding, 'If Allah wills.' And remember your Lord when you forget and say, 'Perhaps my Lord will guide me to what is nearer than this to right conduct.'" (Surah Al-Kahf, Verses 23-24) Here, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) and his Ummah are taught that when making a promise or commitment to do something in the future, the phrase "Insha'Allah" must be included. This is because no one knows whether they will be alive in the future. Even if they are alive, there is no guarantee that they will be able to accomplish the task. Therefore, it is appropriate for a believer to place their trust in Allah both in their heart and through their words. When speaking about doing something in the future, it should be said, "If Allah wills, I will do this tomorrow." This is the meaning of the phrase "Insha'Allah."
